Gosawa is one of the biggest discount sites in the Near East. Every day it is visited by thousands of users looking for best food & culinary, travel, shopping, and services deals. Our task was to design its new identity – from logo to the look and feel of the online store.
We had worked through several different directions for the Gosawa logo – only to end up with the simplest yet most relevant design. The signet is a combination of monogram letter G as well as slightly modified icon of turning things on and off – a direct reference to activity, interaction, fun. The logo was designed specifically as an icon for Gosawa’s mobile application. Its geometric form is a perfect fit for the finger and encourages to top. Just like that!
The logo’s simple firm gave birth to a key visual based on the shape of a plus. It’s an international sign mostly associated with benefits, profits, and quality. Differently sized pluses crease a pattern referring to a variety of deals available on Gosawa. They’re constantly changing, switching places, fading, and emerging again. Like a living creature.
As a large and fast-growing website, Gosawa needed not the interface so much as the system. As part of the task, we created a set of components that can be used to build even the most complex screens. They’d been created in common style and built upon single foundations – the grid and color palette not only help the interface stand out, but also allow it to be easily extended and developed in the future.
We provided the client with a comprehensive style guide that can speed up any work on the interface and guarantees consistency across different elements of the UI.
